Event Sketch Film
THE MAKERSK-Pop Is Breathing in Thailand
A sketch film that carries the heat of a K-Pop training camp in Bangkok
Thai teenagers who dream of becoming K-Pop stars. Following their drive and energy is already a story on its own. The aim was not a record that lines up footage of an event, but a sketch film with a narrative and a message it means.

Key 1 · Making Rhythm
Making Rhythm
The event is a K-Pop training camp and a festival packed with dance and song. The kids turn fierce when they dance, go deep when they sing, ride the beat when they rap, and turn more serious than anyone when they learn how a K-Pop star carries themselves.
Wanting all of that feeling and bearing to come across, most of the work went into tuning the tempo of the film. Building a sense of rhythm inside a short run was this sketch film's first goal.

“Don’t give up.
Just follow what you want.
Keep dancing, keep moving,
keep vibe.”
Key 2 · Handheld
Handheld,
Shaky Cam
To hold the raw energy and urgency of Thailand's K-Pop hopefuls, the approach was handheld. A gaze that never stops moving stays close to their journey, pulling the viewer inside each moment of effort and anticipation.
Making that passion stand out is what carries the narrative and the message of this film.
