Perspective

A Country,
Told by Its Hours

It opens on a sunrise timelapse over Phang Nga and moves through villages on the water, temples and markets, islands and the sea below. The camera follows the grain of how the place lives rather than the route a tour takes.

A child leaping off a bridge into the water, a bowl of noodles, a diver under the surface. Thailand shown through moments where the place is actually alive.

Approach

How It’s Shot

Shooting built on natural light and observation, with the cuts laid over one long movement that follows water from sunrise down into the sea.

Letting the eco tourism the brand speaks of show on screen instead of being explained. That is what this film held to the end.
